SUTTON COUNTY UNDERGROUND
WATER CONSERVATION DISTRICT
PROPOSED IRRIGATION PERMIT NOTICE

The Sutton County Underground Water Conservation District will hold a public hearing on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 at 9:00am at the Sutton County UWCD Office, located at 301 S. Crockett Ave, Sonora, for an application for a proposed permitted well by Chase Wardlaw. The application filed with the District is requesting to drill a well located off County Road 202 known as Miers Road for the purpose of irrigation use requesting 200 acre-feet annually.

In accordance with District Rule 5.4, public comments will be accepted by the District in written form and must be turned in or mailed to the District office by close of business Monday, December 8, 2025.
